The launch was marked with a special Hampshire Cricket Foundation Christmas Lunch, hosted by TMS and Sky Cricket presenter Charles Dagnall, at the The Ageas Bowl on Wednesday 11th December with hundreds turning out to mark the occasion.
The event, which helped raise more than £14,000 for the charity, also included a cheque presentation of £10,000 to Cardiac Risk in the Young for heart screening and the presentation of 4 life-saving defibrillators to local cricket clubs; Sparsholt, Steep, Hythe & Dibden and Gosport Borough.
This week’s Charity Christmas Lunch marked the launch of a very exciting new phase in the development of the Hampshire Cricket Foundation and it feels that we are at the start of something very special.
