Hampshire Cricket Launch T20 Roadshow With Emirates Spinnaker Tower Visit

Hampshire Cricket have begun their preparations for this year’s Vitality Blast competition by launching a T20 Roadshow ahead of this summer’s campaign.

The first stop on the 2019 Roadshow, in which members of Hampshire’s first-team squad visit a host of the county’s most popular family attractions, saw Mason Crane and Lewis McManus head to one of the South’s most iconic landmarks, the Emirates Spinnaker Tower.

As part of the visit, the duo took part in in the Tower’s popular adrenaline experience ‘The Drop’, a thrilling glass ‘Sky Walk’ at 100 metres above sea level, the vertigo-inducing virtual reality walk ‘Altitude’, whilst also taking in a quick game of garden cricket in the open air ‘Sky Garden’.

The attraction was also the host venue for the launch of this year’s T20 playing wear, with the Club’s new adidas kit unveiled for the first time at the impressive 170-metre tower.

Hampshire will take to the field in their new playing wear in just over two weeks’ time, as James Vince's side begin their 2019 T20 campaign with a huge ‘el clasicoast’ clash against Sussex Sharks on Friday 19^th July at the The Ageas Bowl.

Hampshire’s quest to reach an eighth Vitality Blast Finals Day in ten years continues with home fixtures against Kent (Sunday 21^st July), Glamorgan (Friday 2^nd August) and Surrey (Friday 16^th August), with clashes against Somerset (Friday 9^th August), Essex (Sunday 25^th August) and Middlesex (Thursday 29^th August) also arriving at the The Ageas Bowl.
