Hampshire Cricket Launches Online Auction To Support Southampton Hospitals Charity

Hampshire Cricket are delighted to announce a new online charity auction, helping to raise further funds for Southampton Hospitals Charity.
The auction is one of a number of fundraising initiatives implemented through a partnership between Hampshire Cricket and University Hospital Southampton, efforts which resulted in a donation of more than £50,000 being made to Southampton Hospitals Charity last year.
These funds have directly supported the construction of a new rehabilitation space at University Hospital Southampton’s General Intensive Care Unit, enhancing the care, experience and outcomes for thousands of patients at the facility.
40 lots are now open for bidding at www.jumblebee.co.uk/hccauction2021, including a premiere auction lot featuring an overnight stay at Hilton at The Ageas Bowl hotel in a pitch-facing room with a balcony ahead of The Ageas Bowl’s England v Sri Lanka IT20 fixture on Saturday 26th June.
This lot will close on Tuesday 22nd June with all remaining items available for bids until Monday 19th July.
Following the success of last year’s online charity auctions to raise vital funds to support our National Health Service, we have extended our partnership with University Hospital Southampton and we are thrilled to be able to announce the launch of a new online auction this summer, one of a number of fundraising initiatives we have organised in 2021 to help support the life-saving work in the Intensive Care Unit at the University Hospital.
We are looking forward to continuing our fundraising efforts throughout the course of the summer.

The auction launch also follows a commitment for a £5 donation to be made by the Club to Southampton Hospitals Charity for each Hampshire Cricket and Hampshire Hawks shirt sold in 2021.
