Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

Hampshire Cricket Members Enjoy Annual Coffee Morning

The Ageas Bowl hosts its' first Member exclusive event of 2020

Hampshire Cricket Members were out in full force today as the The Ageas Bowl hosted its annual Coffee Morning, the first exclusive Members event of the year.

Wicketkeeper-Batsman Tom Alsop, Player Development Manager James Tomlinson and Head of Player Development Charlie Freeston were in the hot seat answering questions put to them by Head of Customer Experience, Greig Stewart.

Tomlinson and Freeston enlightened members about their goals for the upcoming season and delved into details about the academy and their exciting prospects heading into a new campaign.

Alsop answered questions about his time in the Hampshire Academy and how it prepared him for his career at the First-Class level.

This event was just the first of multiple Members’ events in 2020, keep an eye out for details in the coming weeks.
