Hampshire Cricket are pleased to confirm huge early demand for Vitality Blast tickets, passports and hospitality packages ahead of this summer’s T20 competition, with interest and excitement at an all-time high.
The Club has so far seen unprecedented demand for Hampshire’s seven Vitality Blast matches, with a 30% year-on-year increase in the number of fans snapping up tickets since their on-sale this spring.
Vitality Blast Passports – the Club’s seven-match T20 Passport product which allows access to all of Hampshire’s action-packed Vitality Blast matches at the The Ageas Bowl for just £109 – have also been hugely popular, with a 72% year-on-year increase recorded leading into the 2019 campaign.
We’re now just six weeks away from the start of the Vitality Blast and the appetite for tickets to this point has been tremendous, with more seven match passports already purchased for this summer’s matches than in the entirety of 2018. It’s shaping up to be the The Ageas Bowl’s biggest year of Vitality Blast yet and we can’t wait to get started.

Alongside the popularity of tickets and passports, there have also been significant early sales for hospitality packages to this summer’s T20 fixtures with the opening ‘el clasicoast’ contest against Sussex Sharks already all but sold out, with extremely limited availability remaining in just one suite.
Hampshire’s quest to reach an eighth Vitality Blast Finals Day in ten years begins on Friday 19th July (7pm) with fans treated to the always anticipated ‘el clasicoast’ clash to start the summer. A huge home fixture against Surrey on Friday 16th August is the highlight of four matches in August with clashes against Somerset (Friday 9th August), Essex (Sunday 25th August) and Middlesex (Thursday 29th August) also arriving at the venue.
As well as all of the on-field action, a range of free family-friendly activities will be available at matches once again this summer, helping to deliver unforgettable family days out at the The Ageas Bowl. The venue was recognised for its outstanding family experience at last December’s ECB’s Business of Cricket Awards, taking home the ‘Welcome Families Award’.
As part of the venue’s off-pitch offering, fans will be able to take advantage of a range of excellent ‘festival style’ food and drink concessions again this year – as well as live music at the ground ranked as having the best view in English cricket.
