Keeper-batter Joseph Eckland and all-rounder Daisy Mullan will leave Hampshire Cricket on the expiration of their contracts

The club's promising youngsters continued to impress as Hampshire ended their pre-season tour on a high in their two-day match against a Barbados Select XI at the Kensington Oval.
Fielding first, the visitors dismissed Barbados for just 214 with Sean Ervine (3-22) the pick of the bowlers. Hoping to stake a claim for a first-team spot, young pair Brad Wheal (2-37) Mason Crane (2-60) also impressed with the ball with two wickets each.
There were also wickets for openers Fidel Edwards (2-20) and James Tomlinson (1-30) whilst Marlon Welcome-Goodman top-scored for Barbados with 86.
With the bat it was 19-year old Joe Weatherley who top-scored with 84 as Hampshire reached 345-7. Opener Michael Carberry (73) also impressed with the bat, whilst there were half-centuries for Adam Wheater (65) and Lewis McManus (58).
In Barbados’ second innings, it was spinner Brad Taylor (3-91) who stood out with the ball – picking up three wickets as the home side reached 177-5 at stumps.
The Hampshire squad will now return home and will face Kent in their first pre-season fixture at the The Ageas Bowl in a two-day match, starting on Tuesday 29th March.
The match will be a 11:00am start with free entry for all on both days.
