Hampshire Friendlies And Pre-Season Tour Confirmed For 2025

Hampshire will play a combined seven friendlies in the build-up to the 2025 season with the men’s squad heading to Sri Lanka for their pre-season tour.

The tour will take place from 4-13 March where they will play two two-day matches against local opposition.

The men’s team will then return to the UK and play Sussex home and away along with Middlesex and Gloucestershire with the 2025 Rothesay County Championship’s first fixture starting on Friday 4 April.

Hampshire’s first-ever professional women’s team will play three friendlies starting with an intra-squad match on Utilita Bowl’s Nursery ground before facing Surrey at home and travelling to Taunton to take on Somerset.

Hampshire women’s first match in the Women’s Metro Bank One Day Cup will then take place on Wednesday 23 April, away to Warwickshire at Edgbaston.
