Hampshire players selected in England Women Pathway squads
England Women have announced the Performance Programme intake U19 Training squad for the 2025/26 winter, with a total of five Hampshire players included.
The Hampshire Hawks City Academy – which was created to provide access to high quality cricket coaching and facilities for young people in inner-city areas, who otherwise might not have had access to such provision – has provided unique and transformational opportunities to thousands of young people from Southampton in its first summer.
The programme – which is now over one year old - was formed courtesy of a partnership between Hampshire Cricket and Cantell School, and in collaboration with Hampshire Cricket Board and Lord’s Taverners Wicketz programme.
After a summer spent being coached and playing competitive fixtures, the Academy looks to continue developing top level talent in the Southampton area with regular net sessions and both Cantell school and The Ageas Bowl.
