Update on capacity and attendance at The Ageas Bowl for this summer’s Vitality Blast following the extension of coronavirus restrictions
The Ageas Bowl have been working through the detailed implications of the recent government announcement regarding the extension of coronavirus restrictions to ensure that Hampshire Hawks can safely welcome as many fans as possible to this summer’s Vitality Blast matches.
Following this work, Hampshire Hawks can confirm that 2021 Hampshire Cricket Members and 2021 Vitality Blast Passport Holders are able to attend the first three home Vitality Blast matches (Mon 28th June v Middlesex, Wed 30th June v Surrey, Fri 2nd July v Gloucestershire) at The Ageas Bowl but unfortunately all those Hawks fans who purchased tickets for these fixtures will have to have their tickets refunded due to the capacity restrictions.
The Club and venue continue to work closely with public health agencies and awaits the latest government review of restrictions scheduled for Monday 5th July to understand if more fans can be safely welcomed to the three final home Vitality Blast matchdays (Fri 9th July v Somerset, Fri 16th July v Essex Eagles & Sussex Sharks, Sun 18th July v Glamorgan) in addition to 2021 Hampshire Cricket Members and 2021 Vitality Blast Passport Holders.
All Hawks fans with tickets to the first three home fixtures (Mon 28th June, Wed 30th June & Fri 2nd July) will have their tickets automatically refunded on or before Friday 23rd July, whilst supporters who have purchased tickets for the final three matchdays (Friday 9th July, Friday 16th July, Sunday 18th July) will receive more information as soon as it’s available. Should the Club be unable to safely welcome more fans - in addition to 2021 Hampshire Cricket Members and 2021 Vitality Blast Passport Holders - for these remaining matches, fans with tickets will again be refunded automatically.
Please note, all tickets for the final three home Vitality Blast matchdays at The Ageas Bowl are sold out while a limited number of hospitality places do remain.
