Hampshire Honour Retiring Head Groundsman Nigel Gray

Hampshire Chairman Rod Bransgrove made a special presentation during the final home fixture of the 2015 season at the The Ageas Bowl

Further to an ECB presentation made during England's Royal London ODI match against Australia at The Ageas Bowl, Hampshire have further recognised head groundsman Nigel Gray's fantastic contribution to the county during his final home game at the home of Hampshire Cricket.

Gray, who is retiring at the end of the season after an exceptional 25-year tenure at the club, was presented a gift by the club during a special ceremony on the final day of Hampshire's last home four-day fixture of the season.

Having also been named Groundsman of the Year on no less than three occasions, most recently in 2014, as well as being just the third Hampshire groundsman to be awarded a testimonial, Gray will remain on hand in a consultancy role at the The Ageas Bowl following the conclusion of the season.
