Australian Duo Neser And Lehmann Join Hampshire For 2026
Australian all-rounder Michael Neser and batter Jake Lehmann join Hampshire for the 2026 season
Yorkshire seamer Moin Ashraf has joined Hampshire on a one-month trial.
The 23-year-old pace bowler is set to feature for the Second XI during the period whilst making his first appearance against Surrey on Monday.
Ashraf, made his first-class debut for Yorkshire in 2010 and last featured for the side in a Yorkshire Bank 40 match against Glamorgan back in 2013.
Moin is on loan with us to play in the Second XI to start with, just to strengthen our depth of bowling. He's found himself not playing First XI at Yorkshire and they've allowed him to come here and play some second team cricket so it's a great fit for us.
Giles White, Hampshire Director of Cricket
He's a player that's got a lot of skill and this gives us the chance to have a better look at him. If things work out and if there's an opportunity in the First XI then Moin's here and available to give us options.
