Utilita Bowl is on a mission to become the world's greenest international cricket stadium. Home to some of England's most successful cricket teams as well as Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl, eforea spa, Boundary Lakes Golf Course, Hampshire Wellbeing Centre and BEEFY's Restaurant.

Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

Hampshire Players Overseas: Dawson Gets Zalmi Over The Line

We're looking back at some special performances from Hampshire players in other parts of the world

Liam Dawson and Peshawar Zalmi chased down 177 from the last ball to clinch a dramatic victory against Islamabad United in 2019.

The Hampshire all-rounder strolled to the crease with Zalmi 84-5 in the 12th over and needing a miracle if they were going to qualify for the tournament's knockout stages.

However, the timing of Dawson's 52* (35) was immaculate, leaving his team needing four runs from the final ball to clinch victory.

The right-hander struck the ball straight and over the rope for four meaning Zalmi had taken all of the points when defeat looked inevitable.
