Australian Duo Neser And Lehmann Join Hampshire For 2026
Australian all-rounder Michael Neser and batter Jake Lehmann join Hampshire for the 2026 season
Kyle Abbott's successful summer with Hampshire continued into the winter in 2019, as the right-arm seamer joined up with Durban Heat for the Msanzi Super League in South Africa.
Abbott's competition began with a solitary wicket in his first two matches, followed by a stand out performance of 2-32 against the Cape Town Blitz and rounding off with a wicket in the last of the scheduled group stage matches.
Despite a series of five no results, the Heat managed to finish a respectable fourth place in the table, just missing out on the second versus third place eliminator.
The tournament was eventually won by Aid Birrell's, Aiden Markram's and James Vince's Paarl Rocks side.
