Utilita Bowl is on a mission to become the world's greenest international cricket stadium. Home to some of England's most successful cricket teams as well as Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl, eforea spa, Boundary Lakes Golf Course, Hampshire Wellbeing Centre and BEEFY's Restaurant.

Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

Hampshire Quartet Named in England's Physical Disability Squad

Alex Hammond, Josh Mead, Hugo Hammond and Dan Reynaldo were all named in England's 15-man Physical Disability squad

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) today announced a 15-man Physical Disability squad.

The England Physical Disability team will travel to Bangladesh in August to compete in the International Committee of the Red Cross International T20 Tournament for people with Physical Disabilities.

Hampshire's Alex Hammond who was named man of the series in his debut tournament in 2014 will be joined on tour by younger brother 19 year old Hugo, who also represents the county. The brothers will be the first to represent England’s Physical Disability team together.

The England squad captained by Iain Nairn includes six uncapped T20 players, Hampshire trio Josh Mead, Hugo Hammond and Dan Reynaldo, along with Drew White (Northumberland), Jamie Goodwin (Derbyshire) and Matt Askin (Shropshire).

We have a young, talented squad supported by a multi-disciplinary management team and we are looking forward to testing ourselves against the best physically disabled players from the sub-continent. This squad is yet another great example of cricket being a game for everyone.

The series, which will be staged in Dhaka, Bangladesh runs from 2nd to 10thSeptember, features four T20s against Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India and Pakistan.
