Benny Howell, James Fuller, Liam Dawson and Ross Whiteley will all play in the T10 League starting on Wednesday 23rd November
Four Hampshire players have been chosen to play in this year’s T10 League in Abu Dhabi which begins on Wednesday 23rd November.
New signing Benny Howell has joined up with Bangla Tigers and Liam Dawson has been picked up by Northern Warriors, while all-rounder James Fuller and batter Ross Whiteley will both play for Chennai Braves.
Dawson, who has also been called up to the England squad for their ODI series against Australia later this month, was picked as a replacement for Dushmantha Chameera by Northern Warriors and he will join up with the two-time winners after his international involvement.
Having joined Hampshire in August, Benny Howell will be travelling to Abu Dhabi for his second spell with Bangala Tigers. In 2021, the all-rounder took nine wickets – with an impressive economy rate of just 9.02 – while he scored 72 runs with the bat.
Ross Whiteley was another who played in last year’s competition, where he also racked up 72 runs in his 8 appearances for Northern Warriors. This time around he has joined Chennai Braves, alongside all-rounder James Fuller who is making his debut in the T10 League.
This year’s competition will start on Wednesday 23rd November, with the final scheduled to take place on Sunday 4th December.
