Economical Bell Helps RCB Set The Tone In The WPL
Hampshire’s Lauren Bell delivered impactful spells to help RCB start the tournament with back-to-back wins
Scotland all-rounder Brandon McMullen has signed for Hampshire for the Metro Bank One Day Cup.
The 25-year-old made his international debut for Scotland in 2022 has quickly established himself as one of cricket's most exciting talents. McMullen recorded his first five-wicket haul in ODI cricket with figures of 5/34 against Ireland and scored his maiden ODI century against Oman with 136 runs from 121 balls.
McMullen brings valuable experience to Hampshire's squad, having featured in Scotland's campaigns at the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier and the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
In his ODI career to date, McMullen has played 35 matches, scoring 1,175 runs at an average of 44 demonstrating his ability to perform consistently at international level.
Hampshire begin their Metro Bank One Day Cup campaign as last year's quarter-finalists and will be looking to McMullen's all-round skills to bolster their hopes of progressing further in the competition.
McMullen will be available from 13th August.
