Hampshire Stars Set For Another Season In The Hundred

A total of 14 Hampshire players have been retained by their franchises ahead of the 2025 edition of The Hundred

A strong Hampshire contingent will feature in this year’s edition of The Hundred, with 14 men’s and women’s players set to take part for various franchises.

James Vince and Georgia Adams will once again lead Utilita Bowl-based Southern Brave, with England stars Lauren Bell, Maia Bouchier, and Freya Kemp alongside Adams with wicket keeper Rhianna Southby.

Liam Dawson will remain north of the Thames with London Spirit after he scored more runs and took more wickets than anyone else for the Lord’s-based team last summer.

Pace bowling duo Scott Currie and Sonny Baker return to Manchester Originals whilst John Turner remains at Trent Rockets.

Hampshire men’s T20 MVP, Benny Howell, will also feature for Birmingham Phoenix with Chris Wood.

Linsey Smith continues with Northern Superchargers for a fifth season with Freya Davies retained by last year’s finalists, Welsh Fire.
