Hampshire To Return To Desert Springs For Pre-Season Tour

Hampshire Cricket will be returning to Desert Springs for this year’s pre-season tour.

A total of 17 Hampshire players and 5 members of coaching staff will head to the Spanish resort for a warm-weather training camp.

As with previous tours, the squad has been split into two groups. A bowling group made up of eight players and three coaches will depart first, on Tuesday 7^th March, before the remaining nine players and two coaches depart three days later on Friday 10^th March.

Alongside the training, the team will contest a two-day friendly match with Derbyshire, starting on Monday 13^th March, ahead of their return to the UK on Wednesday 15^th March.
