Hampshire host South Group leaders Glamorgan before traveling to take on Kent Spitfires 24 hours later in a crucial week in the 2017 NatWest T20 Blast, as the group stages near its conclusion.
Hampshire Squad:
Hampshire have named a 14-man squad for Thursday and Friday's fixtures against Glamorgan and Kent Spitfires.
The Opposition:
Glamorgan have enjoyed an impressive NatWest T20 Blast campaign so far, currently sitting top of a closely contested South Group with three games remaining. Since their opening day defeat to Hampshire, Jacques Rudolph’s side have lost just once their following ten matches.
Kent Spitfires have had a mixed T20 Blast campaign so far, sitting seventh in the South Group, with nine points from their ten games, yet are only two points off the fourth qualification spot, currently occupied by Hampshire. Despite winning a tight game at the The Ageas Bowl earlier this month, Kent Spitfires head into the tie with just two wins from their last seven matches.
Chris Wood recorded his best T20 figures when he took 4-16 against Glamorgan in 2015, with the left-arm seamer averaging just 13.9 with the ball against the Welsh outfit.
Liam Dawson’s highest T20 score came against Glamorgan when he struck an unbeaten 76 off 54 balls as Hampshire sealed a 25-run victory in 2016.
Hampshire have won five of their last seven games away from home.
