Australian Duo Neser And Lehmann Join Hampshire For 2026
Australian all-rounder Michael Neser and batter Jake Lehmann join Hampshire for the 2026 season
Hampshire Women were this week presented with the Royal London One-Day Cup as the Lord's Taverners hosted the team at a ceremony at the House of Lords.
The event was an opportunity to celebrate the success of Charlotte Edwards' side last season, with the whole squad awarded the trophy and their winners medals by Lord's Taverners President David Collier on the day.
Hampshire Women enjoyed a sensational campaign last year as they claimed the One-Day Cup in their first year in the top tier, whilst also emerging victorious in the Division Two T20 competition.
The team only achieved 50-over promotion in 2017, but six wins from their seven contests saw Charlotte Edwards’ side crowned First Division champions at the first time of asking.
An excellent T20 showing then followed as Hampshire secured seven wins from their eight matches, narrowly edging out Wales and Scotland – who also finished with 28 points – to seize the title and with-it promotion to Division One for 2019.
