The front of shirt sponsorship of the Club’s County Championship playing kit has been donated to the Hampshire Cricket Foundation
Hampshire Cricket new playing kit for the 2023 LV= Insurance County Championship season has been unveiled.
The 2023 kit’s front of shirt sponsorship has been donated to the Hampshire Cricket Foundation, the Club’s official charity, who will feature on the shirt for the entirety of the season. Hampshire Cricket Foundation uses the power of cricket to help change lives across the county and supports a wide range of initiatives aimed at increasing diversity and inclusion within the sport.
On the same day of the kit’s launch, a Wicketz celebration event, held by Hampshire and Lord’s Taverners, will welcome members of the local community to Southampton for Iftar, which is the fast-breaking evening meal during the month of Ramadan.
Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Abbas, who is observing Ramadan, will also be attending the event alongside around 200 children and young people.
Teaming up again with global sports brand New Balance, the new kit has been launched ahead of the Hampshire’s opening game against Nottinghamshire at The Ageas Bowl – starting on Thursday 6th April.
Hendy Group and Trade Nation also feature on the shirt, as back-of-shirt and sleeve sponsors respectively.

Hampshire finished third in last year’s red-ball competition, their best finish since 2008, and will be hoping to pick up a first County Championship title since 1973 this time around.
They will play a total of 14 matches in the competition, including 7 home fixtures at The Ageas Bowl, throughout the summer – with the season finale coming at home in a potential title decider against last year’s champions Surrey.
