249/8 vs Derbyshire (A), 22nd August 2017
Shahid Afridi was at his destructive best as Hampshire reached finals day in 2017. 101 from the Pakistani was well supported by captain James Vince’s 55 from 36 balls, before being further backed up later in the innings by some powerful hitting from George Bailey, Tom Alsop and Liam Dawson.
The mammoth total was too much for Derbyshire, as Hampshire breezed to a 101-run victory.
225/2 v Middlesex (H), 29th June 2007
Michael Carberry’s 90 from 59 balls was the standout for Hampshire and was backed fantastically by Michael Thornely, 50 (21) and Mitchell Stokes 62 (39).
Hampshire totalled 13 sixes over the 20 overs, as Middlesex could only manage 166 in reply. Thornely, Billy Taylor and Chris Tremlett the main destroyers for the home side.
215/6 vs Middlesex (A), 15th June 2021
The smaller boundaries at Radlett were a recipe for a high scoring thriller and that proved to be the case. Three Hampshire batters – D’Arcy Short, Joe Weatherley and Lewis McManus – passed the 40 mark, however, none went on to make their half-century.
Middlesex managed to chase down the score and secure the win with only two balls left.
202/3 vs Lancashire (H), 7th August 2013
Michael Carberry was once again the star of the show as Hampshire made finals day thanks to his marvellous century. Eleven fours and three sixes highlighted his innings.
Carberry was backed well by James Vince who struck 60 from 30 at a strike rate of 200, during an opening partnership of 110.
189/8 vs Middlesex (H), 14th July 2017
Hampshire soared to their highest total ever at The Ageas Bowl against Middlesex. Michael Carberry went full throttle, hitting an impressive 77 from only 45 balls including five big sixes.
During a warm July night, Carberry was well assisted by skipper James Vince and South African Rilee Rossouw. This time the total was enough to see off Middlesex, as Hampshire won by 29 runs.
