Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

Ian Holland Completes Loan Switch To Leicestershire

The 33-year-old American all-rounder has joined Leicestershire on a loan deal until the end of the season

Hampshire Cricket all-rounder Ian Holland has joined Leicestershire on loan in all three formats until the end of the season.

The 33-year-old has played two Vitality County Championship matches so far in 2024, taking three wickets.

Giles White, Hampshire Director of Cricket, said: “This loan gives Ian a valuable opportunity to play while he has not currently been getting as much playing time in our starting XI and we wish him the best of luck during his time at Leicestershire.”

Since making his debut in 2017, Holland has made a total of 111 appearances across all three formats for Hampshire.
