Hampshire Cricket are recruiting for two Assistant Groundspersons in a full-time position.
The successful applicants will work at an International cricket venue which produces first-class surfaces for both matches and practice facilities. The Ageas Bowl also hosts a number of other events including large concerts, and the applicants duties will include helping the grounds team facilitate these activities in preparation before, and recovery after such events.
2020 will see England play Australia in an One-Day International (ODI) and Pakistan in an International T20 (IT20), as well as a full fixture list of Hampshire Cricket's and Southern Brave's domestic matches.
Desirable qualifications for this position include: NVQ2 sports turf maintenance or BTEC First Diploma / City & Guilds certificate in Horticulture, PA1, PA2 and PA6 Qualifications, awareness of the relevant Health and Safety Legislation and valid driving licenses. Enthusiasm, commitment, a willingness to improve and ability to work as a team member are also equally as important.

Contract: Full-Time
Hours: 40 hours per week as dictated by the Head Groundsman.
Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications based on IOG rates.
