Hampshire Cricket are looking for a Head of Sales & Commercial Partnerships who can help to drive revenues for the club across a number of key commercial areas.
The Ageas Bowl, home of Hampshire Cricket, has been transformed in recent years into one of the most prestigious sporting venues in the UK, with around £60m being invested in new spectator facilities, a new 171 bedroom Hilton hotel plus an 18 hole golf course and this has opened up numerous commercial opportunities.

The venue has an exciting programme of events to look forward to including 5 matches in the Cricket World Cup plus an England v Pakistan ODI in 2019, and there will be a healthy diet of England internationals over subsequent years with the programme to 2024 already agreed. The venue is also one of 8 host venues for the new 100 ball competition which is set to start in 2020 and promises to revitalise cricket in England & Wales. In addition, there is an exciting domestic schedule for Hampshire Cricket including matches in the T20 Blast, the RL50 cup and the Specsavers Championship. These all provide the club with significant potential to drive increased revenues.
The club are now looking to recruit a creative and driven sales professional to lead the sales team and help to maximise the returns on these opportunities. The ability to recruit, inspire and lead a small team is critical but equally important will be a “can do” attitude and a willingness to roll up the sleeves and lead by example. The key areas of focus will be on commercial partnerships, hospitality, group ticket sales and events.
To apply please send a CV and covering letter to [email protected].
The closing date for applications is Tuesday 28th August.
