The Role
A senior leadership position has been created, working closely with the CEO to oversee all commercial and operational activity across the stadium on both match days and non-match days.
Key responsibilities:
Drive the ambition to develop the Utilita Bowl into a 365-day, multi-purpose destination for sport, entertainment, leisure, and corporate events.
Lead initiatives to strengthen sustainable revenue streams and enhance the experience for fans, partners, and players.
Provides a unique opportunity to shape the future of one of England’s most historic county clubs during a period of significant transformation and growth, underpinned by the global backing of GMR Group.
Play a pivotal role to elevate Hampshire Cricket’s position as a leading domestic and international sports and entertainment organisation.
Serve as a key figure in delivering strategic direction, operational excellence, and long-term commercial success.
Hours: Flexible approach to working hours due to the seasonal nature of the role. Emphasis on availability will be during the cricket season and competition schedules.
Salary: Competitive
Location: Utilita Bowl & Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl, Botley Road, West End, Southampton, SO30 3XH with regular travel throughout UK and occasional international commitments.
