The Ageas Bowl, the home of Hampshire Cricket, are hiring for a full-time Marketing Executive.

Job Purpose

To assist the Head of Marketing in delivering the The Ageas Bowl’s marketing and communications plan. In doing so, day-to-day responsibilities will chart all of the venue’s cricket-related products including; England Internationals, Vitality Blast, Membership, Royal London One-Day Cup and the Kia Super League as well as the venue’s non-cricket products from time-to-time.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in the delivery of all marketing campaigns and overarching marketing plan
• Develop, execute and report on email and CRM campaigns
• Regular liaison with retained CRM & Insight partner to ensure efficient use of data and GDPR-compliance
• Regular liaison with other partners and retained agencies – i.e. print, digital, Ticketmaster - to optimise output and ROI
• Support web development and content creation/maintenance across all relevant websites and online platforms
• Deliver, execute and report on above and below the line advertising activities for all appropriate products e.g. outdoor, print, radio / paid search, paid social media, SEO
• Produce and appropriately disseminate strong content to raise awareness of and generate interest in all appropriate products – England Internationals, Vitality Blast, Membership etc.
• Identify, agree and deliver third party reciprocal marketing partnerships to extend the The Ageas Bowl’s reach and increase awareness of venue and its offering
• Compilation of appropriate design briefs for Graphic Designer ahead of collaborative working to point of collateral sign-off
• Assist with the planning, delivery and evaluation of matchday/eventday marketing activities, including data capture projects and competitions
• Developing and maintaining in-venue marketing collateral and sites – including, but not limited to; poster sites, banner sites and permanent signage
• Other duties as required. The nature of which will be defined and dictated by the changing requirements of the business.

Skills & Competencies

• An appropriate undergraduate degree
• A minimum of two to three years’ experience in a similar position/role
• A passion for customer service and delivery
• Excellent administrative and copywriting skills
• Superb attention to detail
• High levels of organisation and efficiency
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Product knowledge
  • An understanding of sport, leisure and hospitality industries
• Key team player. The ability to work as a member of a dynamic team but with the confidence to work alone if required
• Excellent time management and the ability to work to tight deadlines
• A flexible approach to working hours
• High levels of reliability, integrity and trust
