Job Vacancy: Marketing & Communcations Executive

The Ageas Bowl are looking for a Marketing & Communications Executive to join the Commercial team. This would be a full time, permanent position and an excellent opportunity for a graduate with the right energy and drive to join the exciting venue.

The main purpose of the job would be to assist in the origination, management and delivery of proactive and reactive marketing and communications activities relating to the The Ageas Bowl’s activities and business units, including, but not limited to: Hampshire Cricket, Hilton Southampton – The Ageas Bowl, eforea spa, BEEFY'S Bar & Restaurant and Boundary Lakes Golf Course.

Job Purpose

To assist the Marketing Manager in delivering the venue-wide marketing and communications plan.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in the delivery of all marketing campaigns across the venue
• Develop email campaign content for all The Ageas Bowl communications
• Support web development and content across all relevant websites and online platforms
• Deliver and execute above and below the line advertising activities for all The Ageas Bowl business areas e.g. outdoor, print, radio / paid search, paid social media, SEO
• Produce strong digital and social media content to generate interest in all of the venue’s constituent business units – Hampshire Cricket, BEEFY’S, eforea spa, Boundary Lakes etc.
• Identify, agree and deliver third party marketing partnerships
• Compilation of appropriate design briefs for Graphic Designer ahead of collaborative working to point of collateral sign-off
• Manage Hampshire Cricket Lotto in order to maximise returns to Hampshire Cricket in the Community
• Assist with the planning, delivery and evaluation of matchday/eventday activations including: Replay screen and audio content, Matchday competitions and Matchday entertainment
• Assist in coordination of matchday/eventday marketing activities, including data capture projects
• Developing and maintaining in-venue marketing collateral and sites – including, but not limited to; poster sites, banner sites and permanent signage 
• Other duties as required. The scope of these duties may be extended as dictated by the changing requirements of the department and the organisation and therefore the role may require additional ad-hoc duties as required from time to time.

• Good IT skills especially in the areas of word processing and database management
• A flexible approach to working hours and deadlines
