Hampshire Cricket are seeking applications for an HPC registered MSK Physiotherapist for an exciting role within the Science and Medicine Department. This full time 6-month (April-September) fixed term contract will see the successful physiotherapist work closely with the existing Hampshire Cricket medical teams. The successful applicant will need to be adaptable in providing physiotherapy provision across both the men’s professionally contracted and academy squads over this summer’s competitive playing season. Working alongside 4 other MSK physiotherapy practitioners, the role would be ideal for someone with prior experience of working within the elite sports sector (especially cricket) however this is not necessarily an essential prerequisite for someone with appropriate levels of MSK experience. The role will involve working across training and match environments as well as specific rehabilitation settings and you’ll be a valued part of a wider MDT which stretches across both men’s and women’s pathways.
Hours: The role is predominantly based at Utilita Bowl, with travel to other venues for training or match days, as required. Working hours are varied, and there is an expectation that the role holder can be present for some evenings, weekends and bank holidays to meet the needs of the cricket schedule.
