Keeper-batter Joseph Eckland and all-rounder Daisy Mullan will leave Hampshire Cricket on the expiration of their contracts
The Ageas Bowl's charity, Hampshire Cricket in the Community is looking for a School Engagement Manager. This role is a full-time maternity cover position for up to a year and is a fantastic opportunity to earn experience in managing partnerships with Primary Schools.
Together with the Cricket Development Manager, the primary purpose of role will be to develop and implement the ‘Hampshire Cricket’ Schools Strategy, a key element of which will include the Chance to Shine programme.
Specifically, the role will enhance existing relationships with primary schools as well as increase the number of schools we work with, to achieve the ultimate aim of inspiring young people to choose cricket and be the best sport for schools to work with.

Department/Area: Hampshire Cricket Board / Hampshire Cricket in the Community
Location: The Ageas Bowl, West End, Southampton
Working with the Cricket Development Manager:
Specifically:
Educated to degree level or equivalent vocational qualification or experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience working with or in education in a sporting context
Previous experience of setting and monitoring budgets
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience of managing a volunteer workforce
Experience of managing relationships with external partners
