Schools Cricket Activator

Hours: 28 hours per week
Salary
: £18,000 per annum (pro rata) + expenses

Contract: Permanent
Location: South Hampshire, travel will be required

In 2017, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) launched All Stars Cricket, a brand-new programme aimed at providing 5 - 8 year olds with a great first experience of the game.  The first three years have been hugely successful, with over 2400 children taking part across 70 centres in Hampshire each year. This success has been largely due to engaging more children and teachers in our expanding Chance to Shine programme in primary schools.

2020 will see the introduction of Dynamos Cricket, aimed at 8 – 11 year olds graduating from All Stars Cricket or new to the sport.  

We're looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual with a passion for children’s sport and cricket to work as part of Hampshire Cricket Board’s coaching team. This role is central to the success of all programmes, with the responsibility of engaging young people, parents and teachers in Southampton and surrounding areas. Additionally, you will need to have strong communication and organisational skills and the desire to achieve as part of a team.
