Hampshire Cricket all-rounder Dom Kelly and fast bowler Eddie Jack have been named in England Men’s U19 Cricket World Cup squad.
Kelly and Jack, both 18, have risen through the Hampshire pathway system, and made their full senior debuts for the Club in 2022 and 2023 respectively.
The duo featured in the summer of 2023 for England U19s, with both players taking part in the U19 Ashes, with Kelly 276 runs in six matches, including two fifties, and Jack picking up eight wickets with a best of 4-62 in the 1st Youth Test at New Road.
For Hampshire, Kelly’s first outing was against the touring Sri Lanka Development side, when he took 2-22 and 1-28 at The Ageas Bowl.
Having played one Royal London Cup match in 2022, Kelly featured six times in the 50-over competition in 2023 where he took five wickets.
Jack debuted in Hampshire’s opening Metro Bank One-Day Cup match against Middlesex, and picked up his first professional wickets against Nottinghamshire where he finished with figures of 2-19 from nine overs.
More recently, the paceman claimed a five-wicket haul for England U19 against Bangladesh, ending the quadrangular tournament in India as England’s leading wicket taker.
