Since returning to the club at the start of the season, Kyle has been pivotal to this year’s successes across all three formats, and his 60 wickets in the Specsavers County Championship campaign was the third highest in the division.
Abbott pipped Gareth Berg (second place) and Mason Crane (third place) to win the Fans’ Player of the Year Award with the seamer also taking home the Bowler Of the Year Award, for his outstanding contributions this season.

Club captain James Vince claimed the accolade of Batsman of the Year having totalled more than 1,600 runs in all competitions this year.
The 26-year-old struck a number of timely innings throughout the season, and he continues to be one of the most destructive white-ball players in the country and his skill and flair in red-ball cricket has seen him earn an Ashes call-up this winter.

The Ageas Bowl based Southern Vipers were also recognised during the evening, as Suzie Bates took home the Southern Vipers Player Of The Year gong for the second consecutive year.
