Role Vacancy: Food and Beverage Manager
We're seeking a new Food and Beverage Manager to work within our hospitality department to oversee all F&B responsibilities.
Hampshire seamer Kyle Abbott leads the way in this season's Greene King Team of the Year, which has been now been named by the PCA.
The side, which is selected ahead of the last round of Specsavers County Championship using the PCA's purpose-build Most Valuable Player Rankings, is a team full of star performers, including Abbott.
Eight counties in total are represented with six players coming from Division One of the Specsavers County Championship with 2019 Overall MVP Simon Harmer named as captain.
The MVP formula was designed by the PCA in conjunction with the players to identify the key influencers and top performers in any given game.
On top of points for runs and wickets, bonus points are awarded, for example, for scoring runs quickly, claiming top order wickets and taking catches in the field, amongst other important disciplines.
The algorithm therefore provides a more rigorous analysis of player performance than traditional batting or bowling averages. The Overall MVP at the end of every season is rewarded with a £10,000 cash prize.
Greene King Team of the Year 2019: Dom Sibley, Billy Godleman, Tom Banton, Wayne Madsen, Sam Hain, Ryan Higgins, Dane Vilas, Lewis Gregory, Simon Harmer, Kyle Abbott, Ben Sanderson.
