Utilita Bowl is on a mission to become the world's greenest international cricket stadium. Home to some of England's most successful cricket teams as well as Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl, eforea spa, Boundary Lakes Golf Course, Hampshire Wellbeing Centre and BEEFY's Restaurant.

Utilita Bowl is the home of Hampshire Cricket and Southern Brave, whilst also being a host venue for England Cricket internationals.

In 2024, Hampshire Cricket finished second in the Vitality County Championship, reached the knock-out stage of the Metro Bank One Day Cup and hosted seven action-packed Vitality Blast fixtures as Hampshire Hawks.

Southern Vipers went into their final season as the ‘Vipers’, reaching both Charlotte Edwards Cup and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy semi-finals.

Southern Brave Men finished Runners-Up in The Hundred after hosting four spectacular double header matchdays at Utilita Bowl with the Women’s side in July & August.

Both England Men & Women hosted sold-out IT20 cricket at the venue based just outside Southampton. England Women welcomed New Zealand, before England Men hosted Ashes rivals Australia.

In 2025, England return for three international fixtures, including Men's fixtures against West Indies and South Africa, as well as England Women hosting India.

Pace bowler Kyle Abbott has been voted by the public as the PCA Men’s Player of the Month for May

Hampshire fast bowler Kyle Abbott has been voted the PCA Men’s Player of the Month for May 2025.

South African Abbott, who is into his ninth season with the club, picked up 20 wickets at an average of just 15.9 during the May rounds of the Rothesay County Championship, which included two five-wicket hauls.

The 37-year-old also scored 129 runs which included a 67 against Nottinghamshire, where he also claimed match figures of 8-119.

Hampshire’s next County Championship match is away to Essex from 22-25^th June followed by a return to Utilita Bowl against Worcestershire from 29^th June-2^nd July.
