Ladies Day Activities Confirmed

With the The Ageas Bowl set to turn pink for Hampshire Cricket's inaugural Ladies Day this Friday, a host of exciting match-day activities can now also be confirmed.

The club are hosting the event alongside Hampshire’s NatWest T20 Blast match against Glamorgan on Friday 3 July, to raise money and increase awareness for a new Haven breast cancer support centre in Hampshire due to open in October 2015.

Young female cricketers from across the county will be taking part in the pre-match T20 Skills Challenge with ‘Ladies Day’ also dedicated to promoting women in sport. This comes a week after the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced that the first Women’s Cricket Super League will be launched next year.  

We are pleased to announce the following are all scheduled to feature: 

• Wool and the Gang – The unique knitwear fashion company will be present to offer demonstrations as well as showcasing a range of their items
• Capital FM Streetstars – Test your skills with Capital FM's interactive ‘Beat The Intro’ game
• Eforea Spa Offer – Hilton Southampton – The Ageas Bowl’s luxury eforea spa have confirmed an exclusive offer for all ticket purchasers, with attendees entitled to purchase a spa facility day pass for just £20, saving £5 on the normal price
• Live Music – There will be live entertainment courtesy of south coast blues band, Backwater Roll - a six piece group performing classic blues tracks
• Anti-Gravity Running Machine – Test your running skills like never before with Perform at the The Ageas Bowl's anti-gravity running machine
• Funfair – A variety of classic funfair attractions will be available to enjoy with dodgems, inflatables, bungee trampolines and more
• Poseidon Boxing Demonstration – View the thrilling demonstration from Poseidon's talented boxers as they showcase their skills
• Speed Bowling Net – Fancy your chances as a fast-bowler? Test your speed in our speed bowling net
• Cage Cricket – Take part in the revolutionary new form of the game 'Cage Cricket' in our state of the art facility
• Pink Pavilion – The iconic The Ageas Bowl pavilion will be lit pink to mark the special event, whilst there will be 800 pink balloons onsite
• Pink Gamble – A special version of our matchday lottery, with all proceeds going to The Haven Charity
• Prizes – Be in with a chance of winning spot prizes which will be awarded for the best pink outfits on show for both men and women

Tickets are still available for Friday with advanced price adult tickets available at £20, whilst family tickets (Two Adults & 2 U17s) are also available at just £45 at the advanced price.
