Southern Vipers’ Lauren Bell and Danni Wyatt have been named in England Women’s playing XI to take on Australia in their five-day Test Match at Trent Bridge.
The match begins at 11am on Thursday 22nd June, and is followed by three IT20s and three ODIs, the second of which is hosted by The Ageas Bowl.
Bell made her international debut in England Women’s one-off Test Match against South Africa in 2022, and picked up the wicket of Lizelle Lee as her first international scalp.
Wyatt has featured over 150 times for England, as is her country’s second-leading run scorer in Women’s IT20s, with only Southern Vipers’ head coach Charlotte Edwards ahead of her, but she will earn her first cap in whites tomorrow.
In England Women’s warm-up matches, Bell claimed figures of 3-31 in the second innings against Australia A, whilst Wyatt produced an attacking 37 with six fours.
A limited number of tickets remain for England Women v Australia in the penultimate Ashes ODI at The Ageas Bowl on Sunday 16 July.
Tickets are available from £12 for adults and just £7 for Under 17s, but 90% of tickets have already been sold, with ticket sales across the country more than double what they were in 2022.
