A gathering to honour and celebrate the life of Robin Smith, whose warmth, kindness, and spirit touched us all
Southern Vipers pace bowler Lauren Bell has been nominated for the ICC Emerging Women’s Cricketer of the Year award.
The seamer, who turned 23 yesterday, has 40 international wickets to her name having made her debut in May 2022 against South Africa.
She claimed 22 scalps for England in 2023, as the Three Lions drew a fierce Ashes series, including beating Australia in the ODI and IT20 series.

At regional level, Bell took her second-best figures for the Vipers, demolishing South East Stars’ top order in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy on her way to 4-37.
She also picked up six wickets in just three Charlotte Edwards Cup matches as the Vipers completed a historic double to become the first women’s regional team to hold both trophies at the same time.
