Hampshire’s Liam Dawson has been called up to the England Performance Programme (EPP) squad for the winter.
The 25-year old has been recognised for his outstanding performances in the second half of the season as he finished the Royal London One-Day Cup campaign as Hampshire’s leading wicket-taker with 15 dismissals and 324 runs at an impressive average of 64.
Congratulations Liam on his selection for this winter’s England Performance Programme (EPP). The training camp in Dubai next month present an ideal opportunity for him to work closely with the EPP lead coaches and experience what it is like to be in an England environment. This is essential as he continues to develop his all-round games and push for future international recognition
James Whitaker, ECB National Selector
