Liam Dawson Included In England ODI Squad For Sri Lanka

Hampshire all-rounder Liam Dawson has been named in a 16-strong squad for the upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka.

The left-arm spinner last featured for Eoin Morgan's side in February, lining up for two IT20s against Australia and November, whilst Dawson played a pivotal role for England Lions in their triangular series against India A and West Indies A in June, picking up 12 wickets at an average of 10.25 in four contests.

The five-match series gets underway on 10th October in Dambulla, before further matches in Kandy and Colombo.

Liam Plunkett will miss the first three ODIs for his wedding, with Warwickshire seamer Olly Stone called-up as his replacement.
