Southern Vipers batter Maia Bouchier will replace the injured Alice Capsey in England’s IT20 squad against West Indies
Southern Vipers top-order batter Maia Bouchier has been called up to England’s IT20 squad.
She will replace Alice Capsey who suffered an injury whilst fielding in the 1st ODI between West Indies and England on Sunday 4th December.
Bouchier has played 14 IT20s with a high score of 34 which she recorded against India at Derby in 2022.
She also played a crucial role in the middle order as Southern Vipers won their first Charlotte Edwards Cup, as she scored 176 runs at 29.33, with a best of 48* against Thunder.
South East Stars’ Alice Davidson-Richards has also been called up to England’s IT20 squad.
