Keeper-batter Joseph Eckland and all-rounder Daisy Mullan will leave Hampshire Cricket on the expiration of their contracts
Leg-spinner Mason Crane has been named Hampshire’s Player of the Month for the month of July.
The 18-year-old burst onto the scene in the month of July, making his full first-team debut for the club against Surrey in the NatWest T20 Blast.
He performed admirably during the fixture, claiming the prized wicket of international star-batsman Kumar Sangakarra on the way to helping his side claim an impressive 29-run victory.
Crane kicked-on excellently and made appearances in no less than eight fixtures throughout the month across all formats, taking a valuable 12 wickets at an average of 24.17, including 4-72 on his first-class debut against a strong and experienced Durham side.
