England v South Africa
Royal London ODI
Saturday 27th May (11:00am Start)
The Ageas Bowl’s 2017 International calendar is set to kick off in style this Saturday as the home of Hampshire Cricket plays host to a Royal London One-Day International.
Eoin Morgan's men claimed a 72-run victory in the series' opening contest, with the captain striking a sensational century alongside crucial contributions from Alex Hales and Man of the Match, Moeen Ali.
That result saw England take a 1-0 series lead, and with two 50-over fixtures remaining, a victory on Saturday could see the hosts clinch the series and trophy.
England and South Africa have only met once previously at the The Ageas Bowl in International cricket – the tourists were the victors that day in August 2012 by 80 runs, courtesy of 150 from Hashim Amla.
England Squad:
Eoin Morgan (c), Moeen Ali, Jonny Bairstow, Sam Billings, Jos Buttler, Alex Hales, Liam Plunkett, Adil Rashid, Joe Root, Jason Roy, Ben Stokes, David Willey, Chris Woakes, Mark Wood.
