Following back-to-back home fixtures, Hampshire Hawks will take on Essex Eagles and Surrey in successive away fixtures this week – their first on the road in the Vitality Blast this season.

The Eagles picked up an impressive win in their first game against defending champions Kent Spitfires, before falling short last time out against Somerset.

Surrey welcome the Hawks to The Kia Oval having only played one game so far – a tight win over Glamorgan.

Meanwhile, the Hawks are still looking for their first win of the season having lost their opening two games to Middlesex and Somerset.

Hampshire Squad

The Hawks have named the same 14-player squad as in their opening two games.

James Fuller put in an impressive all-round performance against Somerset – scoring 42 runs with the bat before recording figures of 2-23 from his four overs with the ball.

Overseas star Ben McDermott is set to make his 100th appearance in the T20 format against Essex Eagles – his third in a Hawks shirt.
