Hampshire’s Pre-Season Calendar Confirmed
Hampshire’s men and women will be going on tour in March with trips to Stellenbosch and Desert Springs, and five warm up matches
Hampshire will be looking to bounce back on their most recent Vitality Blast defeat when they face Essex Eagles at Chelmsford on Tuesday.
Sam Northeast's team will be hoping to carry on their winning formula at the home of last year's eventual champions, where they ran out seven wicket winners.
Team News:
A unchanged 14-man squad has been named for the fixture at Chelmsford.
Felix Organ, Brad Wheal and Ajeet Dale will be hoping to get their chance as all three players are yet to feature in this years competiton.
The form shown by Tom Alsop will also stand him in good stead as he hopes to cement his place at the top of the order.
Liam Dawson continues to be sidelined due to injury while James Vince remains unavailable as a precautionary measure until after the impending birth of his second child.
