Hampshire Hawks head to Wales on Friday to face Glamorgan in the Vitality Blast as James Vince’s side look to make it four T20 wins on the spin.
It’s the first clash between the two sides of the 2022 campaign with Glamorgan sitting in eighth in the South Group – with two wins from seven matches – while the Hawks are in fifth after reeling off three straight wins against ‘el clasicoast’ rivals Sussex Sharks, Middlesex and Essex Eagles.
Friday’s match is the Hawks’ first Vitality Blast match at Sophia Gardens since 2019, where they lost by 28 runs.
Hampshire Squad
The Hawks have named an unchanged 15-player squad for the match, following Thursday’s victory against Essex Eagles.
All-rounder James Fuller (4-30) impressed against the Eagles while Vince (44), Prest (30), Weatherley (38) and Albert (24*) all contributed with the bat.
Nathan Ellis travels to Sophia Gardens and will hope to feature after missing out against Middlesex and Essex Eagles through injury.
