Match Preview: Glamorgan v Hampshire - Royal London One-Day Cup
James Vince's side travel to Swansea for the latest instalment of Royal London One-Day Cup action on Sunday
Hampshire will be looking to move a step closer to qualification for the Royal London One-Day Cup knockout stages as they travel to Swansea to take on Glamorgan on Sunday. James Vince’s side currently sit top of the South Group on nine points, having claimed four victories from six fixtures so far.
Hampshire Squad:
An unchanged 15-man squad has once again been named for Sunday’s away fixture, with the same group available following an important victory over Middlesex at Merchant Taylors’ School on Wednesday.
Rilee Rossouw and Joe Weatherley have both been instrumental in victories in this year’s competition so far, with the duo each totalling more than 200 runs and a century each in five innings - both batsmen will be looking to contribute with the bat once again.
The Opposition:
Glamorgan have experienced a disappointing 2018 campaign so far, suffering defeat in five of their six matches contested so far.
Colin Ingram’s side battled well to secure their first victory of the competition though on Friday, chasing down 277-8 against Sussex Sharks thanks to an impressive knock of 95 from the skipper to see them safely home with seven balls to spare. With two matches remaining they’ll be hoping to finish well leading into the start of next month’s Vitality Blast.
