In search for their second win of the NatWest T20 Blast campaign, Hampshire have once again named a youthful squad ahead of their home match against second-place Glamorgan and away 'elclasicoast' fixture against local rivals Sussex Sharks.

Hampshire Squad:

Fast-bowler Gavin Griffiths, who has arrived on a loan spell from Lancashire, could make his Hampshire debut after being named in the 13-man squad. The 22-year old picked up figures of 2-23 in Lancashire’s NatWest T20 Blast Final win over Northamptonshire at Edgbaston last season. Sean Ervine will skipper the side in the absence of James Vince whilst Academy batsman Jake Goodwin has also been named in the squad.

The Opposition:

Glamorgan are in the good position to qualify for the quarter-final after 10 matches, currently in second-place with seven victories. Colin Ingram and David Lloyd are Glamorgan’s form players with the bat – they have both hit over 300 runs in the competition so far. The ever-reliable Michael Hogan is likely to be key for Glamorgan with the ball.

Local rivals Sussex currently sit in fourth-place after ten matches having won four. England pace bowlers Tymal Mills and Chris Jordan will be the ones to watch with the ball for Sussex whilst big-hitting skipper Luke Wright will be considered the Sussex dangerman on Friday night.
