Hampshire Hawks welcome Essex Eagles to The Ageas Bowl in the Vitality Blast on Thursday.

The two sides met at Chelmsford at the end of May as the Eagles recorded an eight-wicket victory.

Since then, Simon Harmer’s side have won one of three and currently sit third in the South Group.

The Hawks will be looking for a third successive win, after beating Sussex Sharks and Middlesex in their previous two T20 outings.

Hampshire Squad

The Hawks have named an unchanged 15-player squad for the match, following their nine-wicket win over Middlesex at Radlett

Skipper James Vince and overseas batter Ben McDermott put on a 132-run opening partnership against Middlesex last time out, breaking their own record for biggest opening stand for Hampshire in T20s that they had previously set against Sussex Sharks in ‘el clasicoast’ just three days earlier.

Liam Dawson also impressed with figures of 3-14 in Tuesday’s victory.

Nathan Ellis missed out at Radlett with a slight knock but could return against Essex.
