Hampshire Hawks are looking ahead to the visit of Kent Spitfires to The Ageas Bowl on Friday night.

After a week’s break from T20 action following the hard-fought victory over Glamorgan at Sophia Gardens, James Vince’s side will be hoping to make it five wins on the bounce against the Spitfires.

Kent, last season’s champions have had a tough start to their 2022 campaign but, after losing their opening six fixtures, have won two of their last three – including a victory over Somerset last time out.

Hampshire Squad

The Hawks have named an unchanged 15-player squad from the side that beat Glamorgan at Sophia Gardens.

Both James Vince (44) and Joe Weatherley (46*) batted well in Cardiff, while Toby Albert (21*) made another impressive cameo.

Brad Wheal was the star of the show with the ball, recording figures of 5-38, alongside wickets for Chris Wood (3-16) and Mason Crane (2-20).

Overseas star Nathan Ellis is once again included in the squad and will be hoping to make a return from injury.
